United Foods Company was established in Dubai in 1976 as a public limited company owned by UAE nationals. Started as a pioneering venture, it started operations in  Dubai in early 1979 with an edible oil refinery and a hydrogenation plant. Situated on the Dubai-AbuDhabi freeway  in the Emirate of Dubai, the plant and equipment are state-of-the-art. Over the years United Foods have  expanded and modernised the plant.

The Company had been producing different brands of edible oils, pure ghee and vegetable ghee for the domestic as well as the export markets.

The Company added a new margarine, shortening and butter production plant in 1994.

The Company has also set up a new and modern crude oil refinery at Jebel Ali Industrial Area, Dubai.

The Company believes in producing and selling quality products and therefore, its products command a premium in the market.

Food Quality and safety are our main concern. We conduct food quality and safety tests on all our products. All processes from manufacturing to quality assurance to packaging, are carried out deploying state-of-the-art technology and equipment. We are certified for HACCP, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for  food safety and quality.

The Company is committed to protect the environment. A modern waste water treatment plant has been installed. The waste water parameters are within the limits of Dubai Municipality. An odour control plant has also been installed. Exhaust gases from the boiler stacks are also within the specified limits of Dubai Municipality.
